How do we divide polynomials?

Divide:  4x^12y^6

              36x^9y^7

Yes divide it both by 4 , so its 1 over 9 next you subtract the exponents . You have x^12 and on the bottom x^9 , 12-9=3 so its x^3 and then you see the Y variable , 6-7= -1 in other words just 1
